Dr. M. Sebrena Jackson

Founder and Program Director of NSEP

Dr. M. Sebrena Jackson, Founder and Program Director of NSEP, is the Director of the MSW Program at The University of Alabama. She holds an MSW and Ph.D. from the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social work at Clark Atlanta University. She obtained her BSW at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.

Dr. Jackson received NASW GA’s 2008-2009 Social Worker of the Year award for her work with youth.

She resides in Tuscaloosa, AL with her husband, Dr. Ronnie Jackson. Dr. Jackson desires to expand NSEP to serve foster youth around the country.
